About Us

After becoming the youngest Master Plumber in Minnesota back in 1969 Roger Hokanson found himself needing a warehouse for his plumbing company. He decided to build his own building. He enjoyed building so much that he decided to create Hokanson Construction and continue building. In 1988 He began bringing his family into the business and after building many homes and cabins, Ivy  Ridge Home Builders Inc (IRHB) was created and incorporated filling the need for a residential construction division.   Providing general contracting services for the construction of single  family homes, townhomes & condominiums. 

The next natural area of growth was

Developing Land.  Hokanson Development  was created to bring build ready projects to IRHB. Check out our list of past projects.

     
Presently IRHB has been focusing on  townhome construction. They are the general contractor for all  townhome lots developed by Hokanson Construction & Development Co.,  Inc.(HCDC)  

Over the Years IRHB has received many awards, including the distinction of being the first "Health House" builder in the country.  Certified by the American Lung Association.
